A.R.E. Catalog Login and Password FAQs

Welcome to the A.R.E. Catalog!

The first time you place an order at ARECatalog.com, you will need to create or confirm your User Profile by choosing one of the following:

  • Returning Customer Login: Enter your e-mail address and the password used to access our old catalog (AREBookstore.com)
  • Member Login: Enter your Member ID number and your last name to create a profile with a login e-mail and password
  • New User: Create a new profile if you have never purchased from us or you do not have a member ID

The first time you access your User Profile, you will need to verify your address, confirm your password, and choose a password hint to reset your password in case you forget it.
The next time you purchase from our site you will simply need to remember your e-mail login address and password at checkout.

How do I change my address, e-mail, telephone, login, or password for my A.R.E. account?

You can change any of your account's fields by logging into your account and simply updating each field with the new information and then submitting your changes. Please note that by changing your e-mail address field in your Profile Account, you will also be changing your e-mail login address.

What if I forget my password?

If you have forgotten your password, you can try logging in with your Customer ID and Last Name. If you do not know your ID, you can go to our Password Reset page and enter the e-mail address you used for your Login. You will be prompted to answer the password hint question you created upon first setting up your profile account. If you answer the question correctly, you will be permitted to change your password online and proceed with logging into our Web site. If you are still having trouble, please use our Technical Issues Contact Form to describe the issue(s), or call Customer Service toll-free at 800-333-4499 (or direct at 757-428-3588), between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. (EST) Monday through Friday.

What if my e-mail and previous password don’t work?

If you know your Member ID, try that instead. Or you can create a new profile by completing the information on the New User Profile form. We will find your original record and merge your accounts on our end.

What if my Member ID number and last name don’t work?

If you know you have an account with the A.R.E. Catalog, you can try your e-mail address and password instead. Or, you can create a new profile by completing the information on the New User Profile form. We will find your original record and merge your accounts on our end.

Where can I find my Membership ID Number?

Member ID Number eMembers receive their Member ID via e-mail shortly after joining.
Traditional print-mail members can find their Membership ID on the mail
panel of their Venture Inward magazine.

Is my password case sensitive?

Yes, your password will need to match your previous password exactly.

What information do I need to create a New User Profile?

First and last name, address, and e-mail address. You will be asked to create a new password and select and answer a password hint question the first time you access your User Profile.

Is my Password Hint Answer case sensitive?

No, the password reset answer is not case sensitive.
